as you noticed I have changed my blog to a different template and I think it looks cooler. I also changed my "screen name" from Mr. bike freak (sounds like I'm obsessed) to King Kong, which I don't know if I really like or not. what do you think, yay, nay, or give me a suggestion. anyways, its between classes right now and I'm very hungry so I must go find somthing to eat before my math class or I won't be able to concentrate.

school and stuff

after the first week of school I think I have an idea of how hard my classes are going to be, I will rank them in order of hardest to not quite as hard. 1) Spanish. 2) Chemistry. 3) Math. At least in my chemistry and math classes I speak the same language as the prof. so I can understand them. I also like math and science more than spanish cause it makes more sense to me, and math is the one universal language. wednesday I have class from 1010a to 510p and my book bag weighs about 40lbs, 40lbs for three fricken classes!!!! my chemistry book is about 3inches thick and weighs like 10 lbs, its huge. monday I only have class from 110 to 510 and my bag only weighs about 30 lbs. tues and thurs its just spanish for about two hours. lucily I have friday off so I can still go for long rides in the heat of the day. enough about school. I was out in the pool today and our poodle, Athena, was out there also and she decided to catch a yellow jacket. and she was having a great time until she got stung. the moral of that story is "don't try to eat stinging insects" (that was random). I'm looking foward to the state RR coming up, hopefuly I can win the fours and get a jersey! I'm not so much looking foward to the state hill climb because it is 20 miles of hell. well I guess the first .5 miles aren't that bad but after that I don't like it at all, its just one of thoes races that everyone does. Oh, I'm also going to try to win the Cochise County Cyclning Classic in October and I think I'm going to do the soul ride on halloween. in other news.... the packaging that my graphing calculator came was almost impossible to open, me and Weak Knees were discussing this the other night and he had the same problem. also the instruction manual is like twice as big as the calculator.
I'm tired and I need to go to bed now so I can go riding in the morning before I go cram my head with knowledge.

stupid people shouldn't be allowed to drive, more on that later.

in between classes

today is the first day of the fall semester here at pcc and it is packed with people. I am in between classes at the moment, just finished chemistry and all I can say is that it will hurt. I have to go find my next class now (math 151) so I'll write more latter.

last few weeks of summer

as of today, I have exactly 11 more days until school starts and I will be so busy it won't even be funny. unlike funkmasta B, I have classes all day monday and wednessday and for a couple of hours on tuesday and thursday. I also have a bunch of books (I haven't actually gone to get my books yet but I will have at least four books maybe more). I've been trying to enjoy the last days before school as best I can by riding alot and hanging out with friends. yesterday I did 4 1/2 hours and worked it so I would't get home till noon when it was so unbeleivably hot my water was really hot and it felt like my bar tape was going to melt. I think I was only about 109 in the sun, but after 4 1/2 hours I was tired and hungry and ready for my ride to be over. the rest of the day I didn't do much except sleep and eat and think about doing laundry and all of the other stuff I was going to do. Today I rode for a little bit and then met the manchild at fivebucks and hung out there for a couple of hours. it sucks because he is still sick and won't be able to ride for another few days, he was even reading a book when I got there and he said that he was bored with watching tv, thats serious. this weekend I'm going to go hang out with a friend, hopefuly we won't hurt ourselves to bad between riding, shooting things with potato guns and blowing things up, I don't know how many times we've nearly caught the house or ourselves on fire. Good Times

Thats all I can think of for now

Wupatki RR

Last Sunday was the Wupatki RR up in Flagstaff, and me and my teammate went up there and KICKED SOME BUTT! I got second in the 4/5s and he got fourth in the Pro/1/2 group. I had some help in the fours race from another teammate which was cool. Thanks teammate! We got up there on friday afternoon so we could chill a little and go for a ride before the hill climb on saturday. as the people who know me can attest to, hills are not my strong point, but I managed to get second in my age group with the juniors (out of 4). looking at my time, I would have gotten fifth I think in the 4s.  thats pretty good considering the crappy breakfast I had, two white english muffins with jam, one doughnut, a cup of OJ, and a cup of coffee. I thought that I'd get to have breakfast a second time about two miles from the top;-]  my time up was about 35 mins and coming down was about 10-12mins.   right now I don't want to ride because I have a BIG-HUGE-EXTREMLY GROSS saddle sore on my butt that makes it hurt to ride, just one more hazard of riding a bike I guess.
In other news, SCHOOLS OUT !!!!!!!!! at least for a few weeks until school starts up again. looking foward to going to the white mountains for a week coming up here shortly.
Dinner calls and I must anwser.
